What make things beautiful is that they give colors to our lives.  What makes life meaningful is that when we know how to celebrate it.

This painting depicts about the celebration of life. It is greatly inspired by the Kadayawan festival in Davao City, Philippines.  Kadayawan is derived from a local term “madayaw” which means a bountiful harvest.  It is also used to describe anything that is good, valuable, and beautiful.

I once painted this theme on a small 18” x 24” canvas. See picture below.
